Areas of Specialism

Claudius Werwigk advises on company law, foundation law, the law of association and inheritance law. He advises companies, business-owning families and the self-employed on restructurings, company formation and the setting up of joint ventures, as well as succession and estate planning. He also specialises in advising shareholders, directors, supervisory board members and advisory board members on company law disputes and liability risks. Claudius Werwigk has particular experience of advising Swedish businesses.

Career

Claudius Werwigk studied in Berlin, Lund (Sweden) and Cambridge (UK) and completed his doctorate on “Capital Raising through Intellectual Property Rights”. He has been a lawyer in Stuttgart since 2006. After working in a leading commercial law firm for five years, Claudius Werwigk became a partner in the firm in 2011. He holds a lectureship in business law at Stuttgart’s Media Academy. Claudius Werwigk speaks German, English and Swedish.
